Industrial daily production up 3.5 percent in March
FHI, Federation of Technology Industries – June 12, 2018
Daily production in Dutch industrial sectors was on average 3.5 percent higher in March than in the same period last year.
That reports CBS. The increase is smaller than in February, but production in Dutch industry has been growing for two and a half years. Production in the machinery, electrical equipment and transport equipment industries grew faster than the average in industry. The pharmaceutical industry is the frontrunner. This sector showed growth of almost 17 percent. Not all figures show growth. In April, producer confidence dropped to 8.2, while in March that figure was still 9.5. Over a period of twenty years, however, this index remains well above average.
