Celduc Relays offers three types of solid-state relays for DC applications in PCB mounting. These have a form factor similar to many electromechanical relays.
- The slim SLD single in line relay can switch 0-32Vdc 4A or 0-60Vdc 2.5A and is controlled with 18-32Vdc.
- The STD is a lower, double in line relay in 0-30Vdc 2.5A and 5A in two control voltages 12-30Vac/dc or 12-30Vdc.
- The SPD relay is higher rated than the STD and can switch 0-30Vdc 5A. It is also available in two control voltages: 12-30Vac/dc and 12-30Vdc.
A major advantage is their extremely long service life, as the relay has no mechanical moving parts. They are also interchangeable with a wide range of common electromechanical relays.
These solid state relays are widely used for frequently switching loads such as DC power supplies, batteries, heating elements, electromagnets and DC motors, but also in test equipment that performs endurance tests.
Celduc solid-state relays are constructed with an input circuit, a switching circuit, and an output circuit, giving them high immunity. They can withstand high inrush currents and voltage surges.
