Wenli Shi, PhD from Delft University of Technology, gives a plenary presentation on wireless power transfer. 'Wireless Power Transfer' (WPT) is the process of transferring power from one circuit to another without being connected by a man-made conductive element.

Wenli Shi's presentation summarizes the international WPT standards regarding EMC disturbances. In addition, he presents the relevant experimental and simulated results of the DCE&S (DC Systems, Energy Conversion & Storage) group of TU Delft in the field of safety and reliability of WPT.

WPT is one of the most important technological drivers for electrifying transport on an even larger scale. International standards proposed by various organizations bring this technology closer to real electric vehicles.
