HELUKABEL acquired cable assembly company Sangel Systemtechnik at the end of March
A new addition to the HELUKABEL Group: at the end of March 2022 we acquired Sangel Systemtechnik GmbH. The company, with headquarters in Bielefeld (Germany) and branch in Plovdiv (Bulgaria), is the newest member of our group of companies.
Since its founding in 1996, Sangel Systemtechnik has grown into one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality, industrial cable assemblies and complete system assemblies for machine and installation construction. The company has been working closely with HELUKABEL for many years. “We look forward to further intensifying our cooperation and the resulting synergy to meet the increasingly high demands of our customers,” says director Frank Sangel, who will remain on board together with the rest of the management team.
For HELUKABEL, the acquisition of Sangel is useful for the product portfolio and a further step on the way to becoming a system provider. Our goal is to further expand our range of tailor-made total solutions, especially for drive and automation technology – also in collaboration with our subsidiary EKD Systems. Furthermore, the new partnership allows us to expand our international cable assembly activities – from Europe to Asia and North America.
