The EMIS SMF2232 series of filters are designed to effectively suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) in demanding industrial and medical applications.
With current ratings from 1A to 36A, the SMF2232 is particularly suitable for frequency controllers and inverters such as UPS systems in various markets.
The series is available in four versions, with different leakage currents at 250 Vac / 50 Hz:
- Standard: 37mA
- Increased safety: 0.05mA
- Medical: 0.00mA
- Increased interference suppression: 3.69 mA
All models comply with UL 60939 and IEC 60939 and have a UL 94 V-0 fire safety rating.
The SMF2232 is suitable for up to 250 VAC or 250 VDC with a frequency range of DC to 400 Hz and an inrush current up to four times the nominal current. Optional surge protection is available. The SMF2232 offers optimal conducted attenuation for AC and DC applications and complies with CISPR 17 standards for insertion loss. With IP20 protection and a temperature range of -25°C to +100°C, this filter is ideal for industrial automation, medical equipment, and automotive electronics.
Custom filters for defense equipment with a wider temperature range, higher shock and vibration requirements, and for use at high altitudes are easily possible, even in small quantities.
