FELTEN Wire & Cable Solutions designed a cable, together with BizLink that can float, is flexible, reelable, can be pulled, has integrated power wires, ethernet pairs, fiber optic elements and an air hose, all in one cable. 
This cable is used in an innovative solution for cleaning the top layer on slow sand filters of water treatment facility. 

The cable has to be floatable to prevent the ROV gets tangled. This innovation allows the filter bed to be cleaned more often without emptying the basin which doubles the capacity. 
Since the demand for drinking water is growing this is very important.
