The FHI Economic Barometer provides an up-to-date overview of economic prospects within various industries every quarter. The barometer consists of several indicators, including turnover growth, order portfolio, promising areas and potential threats. In general, members are slightly more optimistic about achieved turnover and order positions compared to the previous quarter. When asked 'what are your expectations for the year 2024?', the majority of members answered 'about the same'. Nearly 70% of AI respondents gave this answer, while for electronics and the laboratory industry this percentage was between 40 and 50%. Due to an insufficient response, the results of the Building Automation sector cannot be reported.
