Absolute safety in work processes does not always mean that a high-end solution at the highest price is necessary. With the new Flexi Compact SICK is launching a simple and cost-efficient safety controller with local I/O.
The new Flexi Compact in 5 advantages:
- The Flexi Compact is an easily expandable hardware platform, which makes you ready for the future in one go. Thanks to its modularity and the use of future-proof technologies, it is a solution that will last for years to come.
- The fast reaction times of the Flexi Compact allow shorter safety distances. This immediately brings a more compact machine design within reach.
- Fast commissioning is guaranteed thanks to the intuitive engineering tool Safety Designer. This free software is known for the highest number of pre-certified function blocks.
- The housing of the Flexi Compact is so user-friendly and compact that the safety control is easy to assemble and maintain. The removable terminal with memory plug is extremely innovative. This remembers previously entered settings.
- The Flexi Compact is suitable for all common field buses. Data communication is via local I/O. The Flexi Compact is also optionally available with TCP communication. Communication to PROFInet or EtherCAT is possible via the gateway.
