EURO-INDEX introduces the Fluke PVA-1500, a new test instrument for performing IV measurements during commissioning, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of PV modules and strings up to 1,500 V and a maximum of 30 A.
The device measures the IV curve (current versus voltage) of a PV string or module using a capacitive load. In addition, the PVA-1500 generates the PV curve (power versus voltage), Isc, Voc, Imp, Vmp, Pmax, fill factor and performance factor (the ratio of measured power to expected maximum power). The device contains a database with data of more than 70,000 modules with automatic updates.
The Fluke PVA-1500 has no display, but is operated and read via a WiFi connection to your Windows laptop. The included SolSensor is mounted to a PV module with a handy clamp and communicates the irradiance, module temperature and tilt angle to the PVA-1500.
This instrument is available in a version for current measurement up to 10 A and a version for measurements up to 30 A.
