With the FKB5457-SMD, PTR has released a horizontal spring contact or pogo pin. Most common spring contacts are perpendicular to the PCB, while PTR now introduces a horizontal version. The spring contacts are placed next to each other in a holder, whereby the bottom side remains free and is soldered to the PCB. The gold-plated spring contacts can bridge 1.5 mm, which is a large tolerance range for the counter contact.
