The Inxpect product range is being expanded with the new C201B-C CIP Safety™ control unit for radar sensors. This control unit was specially developed for industrial applications where safety and network integration play a crucial role.

CIP (Common Industrial Protocol)

The unique thing about the C201B-C, compared to other control units, is that it uses the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP), which ensures smooth integration with existing industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP. The Ethernet fieldbus provides a connection between the control unit and the machine PLC, allowing complex information, such as the real-time position of the operator, to be exchanged. This enables rapid integration with existing machine fieldbuses. In addition, all configurations and login data can be stored on a microSD card on the unit itself.

Control unit for AVGs and MIRs

The C201B-C CIP Safety™ is highly versatile, offering dynamic sensing field configurations, enabling real-time switching between up to 32 different settings. This is particularly useful in mobile applications such as autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs) and mobile industrial robots (MIRs), which require flexible sensing fields to adapt to constantly changing conditions.

Various entrances and exits

The C201B-C CIP Safety™ offers a wide range of inputs and outputs, including two safety outputs that can be used for one or more detection fields. Furthermore, the unit has functions such as a restart signal, system recovery and a configurable muting signal. These functions make the system suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, from simple to very complex installations.
