With the EIP series, Amphenol LTW launches an industrial set of waterproof Ethernet connectors.
EIP stands for Ethernet Ingress Protection, is Cat/6a compliant and even offers IP69K protection, which is the highest possible degree of resistance to moisture and dust ingress.
The EIP is a compact RJ45 Ethernet connector with PoE standard. It complies with the EM45545-2, eN61373, and MICE3 standards.
The EIP series currently consists of one cable connector and two panel mount versions for PCB connections. The latter are designed as 1x4 and 2x4 connectors, both equipped with indicator LEDs.

Much of the Ethernet in industry is now implemented with M12 X-coded connectors. The EIP saves both space and costs compared to the M12 variant.
