'Small gas fields can be deployed quickly'

- Small Dutch gas fields can produce up to 6 billion cubic meters of extra natural gas in the short term. That writes De Telegraaf. Currently approximately 12 billion cubic meters of gas is extracted from these fields.
- Due to the rapidly rising prices of raw materials required for the production of batteries, the price of an electric car is falling less quickly than expected. An average electric car now costs 51,000 euros, reports RTL News.
- In February, owner-occupied houses were on average 20.2 percent more expensive than a year earlier. That reports CBS. 17 percent fewer houses were sold this month.
- Eneco will from now on charge customers with a variable contract or an expiring energy contract new rates every month. That writes RTL News.
