With the introduction of the Model 4041, Mascot is expanding its medically certified Blueline portfolio with a compact battery charger for professional use.
The charger delivers a maximum power of 42 W and is currently available for Li-ion battery packs with 1, 8, 10, and 14 cells connected in series. Depending on the configuration, 1- and 2-cell packs are charged at up to 5 A, while 14-cell packs support up to 710 mA.

Support for other battery chemistries, including lead acid, LiFePO₄ and NiMH, will follow shortly.

The Model 4041 is IP41 rated as standard and can be supplied with IP67 dust and water resistance upon request. It uses a microcontroller-controlled 3-step charging profile, which precisely adjusts the charging process to battery conditions, contributing to a longer lifespan and stable performance. A wake-up function with soft start is integrated for deeply discharged batteries. The charger complies with UL, EN 60601-1 (medical), EN 60601-1-11 (home healthcare), as well as the common standards for A/V and commercial equipment.
Mascot's Configurable Battery Charger (CBC) allows the charger to be further tailored to specific application requirements.
