When developing applications for DIN rail mounting, standard DIN rail housings are often used. However, in many cases these are unnecessarily wide because a separate terminal strip is used as a PCB connection.
This has been cleverly solved with the new DIN rail housings INS265 series from PTR HARTMANN, which have a standard width of only 6.2 mm. Up to 6 connections are possible, either push-in or screw connections.
By using different housing covers, housing widths of up to 15.0 mm can be achieved.
The PCBs can also be assembled by PTR according to customer requirements, placed in the housing and then soldered to the pre-defined contact positions.
There are several housing options:
- Top opening: closed with blind plug, equipped with separator knives or sliding switches, opening for thumbwheel switch or USB-C connector
- LED prisms
- grounding base
- openings in the side walls
- laser marking at the connections and/or side walls
- available in different colours
With the INS265 series DIN rail housings, PTR HARTMANN offers a flexible and individual solution for electronics in control cabinets.
