From torsionally soft to resilient – a new highly flexible flange coupling
The VAROLASTIC® is an extremely flexible flange coupling with progressive torsional stiffness. The special feature of the slightly to moderately progressive torsional stiffness curve is achieved by special synthetic elastomer rollers and the innovative covex-concave contour guide. At low operating loads or stationary operation, the coupling is very torsionally stiff. As the operating load increases, the torsional stiffness increases disproportionately.
