Updated information on the UKCA certification of HELUKABEL products
The European CE conformity marking will soon be abolished in Great Britain: From 1 January 2023, after a transition period of two years, only the British UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking will be accepted there. This also has consequences for HELUKABEL cables, wires and accessories.
Unfortunately, it is not yet clear how the UKCA marking will be regulated from next year. However, we are in constant contact with the responsible authorities via our British subsidiary, HELUKABEL (UK) Ltd. This means that we are informed quickly and directly about all future decisions in this regard. The UKCA mark is currently only printed on our product labels. As soon as there is more planning certainty, we will also apply it to products and data sheets.
We are confident that we will continue to be able to offer our products and solutions to our customers in the UK reliably and in accordance with regulations. We will of course keep you informed of further news regarding the UKCA certification.
