An enclosure with IP68 rating means that no water will penetrate after 24 hours under 1 meter of water. There are not many standard enclosures available for this. Takachi has made the WG series enclosures from impact-resistant Arylonitrile-Styrene-Acryl Ester (ASA). This offers excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability and weather resistance. This makes the WG series IP68 enclosures extremely suitable as a housing for outdoor access points, IOT gateways or LoRaWAN modules.
The housing can be mounted freestanding on a wall or pole with specific brackets. Optionally, the housing can be processed ex-factory, including with gland holes, antenna holes or fitted with a pressure equalisation valve.
The WG series is available in sizes from 100x150x55 mm to 145x210x90 mm.
