With the AK136 series, PTR Hartmann offers a PCB multi-connector in which the PCB part is connected from above, making it particularly suitable for installation in electronics housings.
The locking lips on the bottom allow the AK136 to be mounted in a housing base after which the wiring is connected. The matching STL136 pin strip is mounted on the PCB, the connection is then made when the PCB is plugged into the connectors. This also has the advantage that in safety applications the power supply to the device is interrupted when the lid is opened. Another typical application is intercom or thermostat systems where, just before the completion of a building, the equipment is clicked onto the wall plate to prevent damage during completion.
The AK136 is available in 2 to 12 poles with a pitch of 5mm. With its wire protection system, the AK136 clamps solid conductors up to 2.5 mm² and flexible conductors up to 1.5 mm². The standard version of the STL136 pin strip is suitable for high temperatures for wave soldering. There are THR and SMD variants, Tape-on-Reel, available in different pin lengths.
