Capacitive loads with high inrush currents are a challenge in modern automation. The new Panasonic ALQ6 power relay addresses this, with an inrush current of 40A for 100μs.
This is now also available as a PiP (Pin-in-Paste) reflow variant for automated assembly processes.

This compact all-rounder measuring 10x20x16mm is ideal for motor and LED control in industrial and building automation. With switching capacities up to 10A and reinforced insulation of at least 5.5mm between contact and coil, the ALQ6 complies with IEC/EN60335-1 standards. The sealed housing provides environmental protection, while the relay operates reliably up to 105°C.

Available in six coil voltages (5V-24V) and with a choice of 1 Form A or 1 Form C contact configurations, the ALQ6 suits many applications and this universal applicability makes this relay the logical choice for modern switching solutions.
