If we want to verify the reliability of a material, part or product, it is good to start with the knowledge that is already available based on our own experiences. It may also be the case that data about the lifespan of a product is already available, but in practice it often proves to be very difficult to obtain this data. A good Reliability Test Plan can help with this and accelerated lifespan tests can be carried out on this basis. A prediction of lifespan can then be made through data analysis.
