ABS Technics has developed a multi-layer RFID absorber plate for UHF applications using the TLF material, allowing “false positive” recognitions to be minimized or even avoided entirely.
A typical application is in RFID recognition tunnels and truck docking stations. Unwanted RFID reflections sometimes arise there, for example through the steel construction of the building or adjacent RFID reading systems.
The TLF plates have standard dimensions of 610x610x60mm and typically absorb -18dB in the 800 MHz to 1 GHz range. The ABS-TLF material is applied to an electrically conductive surface.
The material can be supplied in other dimensions according to customer specifications and may be provided in advance with a thin galvanized sheet, an electrically conductive foil or a self-adhesive tape.
