Routeco expands European reach through acquisition of Swibox Automation AG

We are pleased to announce the acquisition of the Swiss company Swibox Automation.

This addition to the Routeco Group complements our existing European locations and strengthens our ability to meet the increasing demand for industrial automation products and services in the EMEA region.

From April 1, 2023 Swibox Automation in Switzerland becomes part of the Routeco Group, strengthening Routeco's presence in the EMEA region.

Swibox Automation was previously part of the company Swibox AG, which specializes in the production of housings for the machine industry, infrastructure for tunnels and buildings and in the production of stainless steel equipment for the medical, pharmaceutical and food industries. This addition to the Routeco Group complements the existing European locations in the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands. 

Swibox Automation is the authorized Rockwell Automation distributor for Switzerland and this acquisition combines aligned visions of offering an industry-leading omnichannel customer experience.
