Celduc's SOD series of solid-state relays offer a significant step toward smarter industrial automation by combining switching with advanced diagnostics that prevent unplanned downtime and maximize process efficiency.
These single-phase, zero-cross SSRs instantly detect multiple critical faults with a response time of less than 100 ms, without the need for external monitoring circuitry or an additional power source.
The main statuses monitored are:
- tax status: real-time detection of an interruption (load break)
- grid status: signaling of power failure or voltage interruption
- security status: detection of a defective fuse or mains protection
- initial status: check for both open circuit and internal short circuit in the relay
Error messages are communicated via a floating contact and an alarm LED. The SOD series is available for currents from 40A to 150A (depending on the load and duty cycle) and can be used within a voltage range of 50 to 510 VAC.
