With MVV, Suurmond has added another portfolio of extremely accurate dosing pumps! Thanks to the high level of precision, the dosing pumps can act as active flow meters, guaranteeing optimal dosing accuracy and efficiency. If there is no solution, MVV will create one! Includes pumps for slurry and abrasive fluids.

 

The use of MVV dosing pumps

MVV pumps are known for their exceptionally accurate dosing, thanks to close tolerances of just a few microns. This precision allows them to function as “active flow meters”, ensuring optimal dosing accuracy and efficiency. Unlike conventional flow meters, these pumps maintain consistent linear flow regardless of pressure, delivering unparalleled accuracy.

MVV uses hard, wear-resistant steel to minimize internal components, which improves stability and reduces tolerance errors. The pumps are typically made of heat-treated martensitic stainless steel with a hardness of approximately 58 HRC, eliminating the need for bushings and ensuring precise alignment and control.

The curves provided show the exceptional linearity of the pumps, even at high pressure and low speed. With an efficiency of over 99.5% in most cases, these pumps deliver excellent performance.
