RutOS from Teltonika Networks is a unified, OpenWRT-based operating system developed for industrial use. Teltonika Networks experts and developers are constantly implementing new features and upgrades to improve the effectiveness, reliability and security of RutOS. Mobile RutOS app
The RutOS app allows users basic tasks execute on Teltonika Networks devices and monitor their performance. This simple app allows you to access the router’s configuration directly from your mobile phone to find information about your connected devices. A quick overview of the essential data is available on a visual dashboard, where you can see your device model, status, uptime, RutOS firmware version, CPU, RAM and flash memory usage or upload/download speeds. In addition, the device and Wi-Fi lists allow for easy management of your connected devices and present various statistics of your wireless network. You can also edit the data of your Access Points, such as name and password, or disable them altogether.
Another useful feature in the RutOS app is the speed test. Users often worry about their internet performance. It is also possible to check your download and upload speeds directly in the app. You can also track your traffic distribution in a dedicated traffic tab, where incoming and outgoing data is visually displayed in charts over specific time frames.
The mobile app also allows you to easily manage your connected network devices restart. Firmware updates can also be downloaded and completed via the RutOS app. However, the application itself only works on devices running RutOS v.07.01 or later. In principle, this new app will satisfy the basic diagnostics and installation needs of the users, although for more advanced configurations, the use of WebUI or Remote Management System – RMS is recommended.
