Safe connections for energy storage systems

The new reverse polarity protected connectors from the BPC series from Phoenix Contact are ideal for use in battery storage. Thanks to their 360° rotatability and various connection methods, they offer the user a high degree of flexibility.

Contacts with touch protection and color polarization as well as mechanical polarization ensure safety when connecting the battery terminals. The watertightness of the connectors also contributes to reliable installation. The high shock and vibration resistance ensures consistent power transmission even under demanding conditions. The connectors transmit high currents of up to 400 A and are designed for applications up to 1,500 V. They meet all relevant energy storage standards according to UL 4128, UL 1973 and UL 9540.
