Since December, Sjors has been working at Rensen as Department Manager Project Execution. His goal: improve by connecting. What exactly does that entail? Sjors is happy to explain: “I try to bring together as many different departments and people as possible. In my role, it is a lot of listening, researching, exploring and talking. The more we really talk to each other and listen to each other, the more connected we are with each other.”
How did Sjors end up at Rensen? “I couldn’t tick all the boxes in the vacancy, but I still went for an interview. I consciously wanted something different and I like the challenges that working together in teams brings. It’s nice to see that at Rensen you don’t have to meet all the requested requirements to apply. It’s much more important that you share the same standards and values. Because I come from a different sector, I look at some things very differently. They really appreciate that fresh perspective here. And that’s what makes my job so much fun!”
