As a rule, emergency lighting fixtures are constructed with a complete emergency unit, where one LED driver contains all components:

  • the regular LED driver
  • an integrated emergency LED driver
  • an onboard Lithium Iron Phosphate battery

In addition to these all-in-one emergency units, Fulham now also offers a solution in which the emergency LED driver and LFP battery are connected in parallel as one unit, a regular LED driver: the FHSCP-UNV-10P-S-SD.
This is programmable from 3W to 10W and has a default setting of 10W at 90 minutes. The output voltage is between 15 and 55Vdc with a current of 55mA – 666mA.

This emergency unit has a connection for a Bluetooth radio (ESLI01HB01) to remotely read the status via Bluetooth mesh 5.0. This is compatible with all SIG related Bluetooth equipment. All in all, an interesting solution for an upgrade to an emergency luminaire.
