Under a load of a few amps of normal use, the drive's temperature remains low, even without a heat sink or forced cooling. At higher current draws, the ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold, ENIG) copper gold heat plate provides thermal conductivity with double the efficiency of aluminum to draw heat away from the FETs to the frame, acting as an infinite heat sink. The Nano allows OEMs to design their own robotic linkages, multi-axis systems, integrated drive motors and lightweight systems, saving costs and space.
