An Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) is an electronic test device used to generate electrical waveforms.

AWGs offer simple and flexible solutions for designing and generating pulse sequences. This makes them very suitable for applications in Spin Resonance spectroscopy and in Quantum Technologies.
