Artificial Intelligence: a look at the near future
The World of Industry Technology and Science (WoTS) shows the most innovative technologies live on the exhibition floor. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) seminar focuses on the role of electronics (hardware and embedded software) within AI. And then we build the bridge to the application of AI in the manufacturing industry.
From September 24 to 27, the Jaarbeurs Utrecht will be the stage of the largest industrial trade fair in the Benelux: the WoTS 2024. In the extensive seminar program, innovation, creativity and industry join forces to show you the world of tomorrow.
Today there is an explosion of new applications in AI. The business community is now experimenting with generative AI: artificial intelligence that creates something itself based on an assignment.
This seminar is divided into two blocks. The first part focuses on the electronics side of AI. The second part bridges the gap to the industry.
AI requires enormous computing power. To achieve this, very powerful microchips have been developed. The first part of the seminar focuses on the development, production and applications of microchips. The link is then made with embedded software that is built around a chip. Thanks to the software, a chip has a practical application.
The second part focuses on the application areas of AI. How is AI applied within the process industry and mechanical engineering? To answer this question, the seminar presents two concrete examples from the Industry.
