ASML: 'chip shortages will continue in the coming years'

- Chip machine builder ASML cannot keep up with the demand for its machines, writes RTL News. The company warns of continued chip shortages in the coming years.
- The gas price has fallen below 100 euros per megawatt hour. The decline is the result of relatively warm weather in Europe and the continued flow of gas from Russia, reports NU.nl.
- Many of the producers of sustainable electricity and biogas are no longer dependent on government subsidies due to high energy prices. That means a big windfall for the treasury, writes NOS.
- According to Prime Minister Rutte, it is impossible to stop the import of Russian gas and oil in the short term. Refineries in Eastern and Western Europe would still be too dependent on these Russian fossil fuels, writes the FD.
