Fully automated positioning drives not only optimize machine set-up times, but also prevent incorrect settings. This saves you waste and damage. You are already familiar with this from SIKO positioning drives, but they are now also available with an IO-Link interface for the first time. The AG03/1 IO-Link positioning drive.

Communication to the cloud

In the Industry 4.0 environment (smart factory), it is often not enough to exchange pure process data, but it is also desirable to obtain values for diagnostic purposes. Think of output stage temperature, motor current and various voltage values. This is possible with the AG03/1 IO-Link. In addition, the electronic nameplate displays all identification data of the device (type, serial number, hardware and software versions). This makes planning maintenance intervals easier for you.

With the open IO-Link standard, a wide range of network components from different manufacturers are available, so that seamless communication can be achieved from the field level to the cloud, securely and easily.

Plug & Play with IO-Link

The AG03/1 adjustment enables rapid integration via a point-to-point connection using simple I/O connection technology. Thanks to the open standard of the IO-Link interface, convenient integration options are available for machine controls from all leading suppliers. IO-Link master components can be used to network multiple devices on a modular basis. This simplifies the wiring and commissioning costs. The standardized connection, combined with additional diagnostic functions, improves maintenance friendliness and reduces downtimes in the event of errors. With the IO-Link master, parameter data can be read from the AG03/1, saved and loaded onto a new device of the same type when replacing the old device – even while the process is still running.

All-round solution for minimal installation space

Even with axle distances of only 37 mm, two AG03/1 adjustments placed next to each other do not interfere with each other. This allows them to be used with shafts placed very close together. All control electronics and the IO-Link interface are integrated in the compact housing of only 80 mm deep.

The brushless 24V EC motor has a power of 50W, is not subject to wear and therefore ensures a long service life. The torque of 3.2 mm and its maximum speed of up to 100 rpm ensure top performance when setting formats, stops and tools. The absolute magnetic measuring system, with 1600 steps per revolution, provides high-resolution position values - over the entire range up to ±6250 revolutions. This ensures that reference movements are no longer necessary when starting the drive. In addition, the magnetic measuring system has proven to be resistant to dirt, moisture, shock and vibration.

A few more advantages at a glance:

  • Space-saving, easy installation thanks to hollow shafts up to max. ø14 mm
  • Brushless 50 W, 24 V EC motor with long service life.
  • Integrated power and control electronics with polarity and overload protection.
  • Integrated absolute encoder on the output shaft.
  • Interfaces CANopen, Profibus-DP, RS485/SIKONETZ5 or IO-Link.
  • IO-Link optionally with 1-cable or 2-cable interface.
  • Industry 4.0 ready
