Overflow detection in rural areas and sewers often presents a serious challenge. How are we going to feed the system and how are we going to get the data into our systems? Elscolab offers a ready-made modular solution to autonomously detect, quantify and qualify overflow events.

The wired CSC and wireless LSC autonomous overflow detectors can even in polluted environments accurately record the presence of water. By combining a sensor with the battery-powered Ijinus ultrasonic level sensors (with built-in data logger and modem), it is possible to carry out completely autonomous level measurements on watercourses during overflow events.

To monitor water quality, the Ijilog data logger can be equipped with sensors for pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), turbidity and conductivity, among others. One Ijilog can serve as a master unit for multiple units in a measurement network to limit the number of communication points. The data can be accessed from the master unit at regular intervals via GSM, Sigfox or GPRS communication be sent to a SCADA, cloud or Ijitrack.

To further expand the application possibilities, the Ijinus data loggers are compatible with a wide range of sensors, including non-contact flow measurement, samplers, pluviometers, flow rate and flow meters, etc.
