Batenburg brings displays with LiquidUX to the Benelux
In many industrial applications, physical buttons are replaced by a touch interface. This trend also continues outside clean and controlled environments, but does require a critical view of displays. Environmental influences such as sunlight, condensation, rain or operating with gloves must not have a negative effect on performance. Display manufacturer EDT, represented in the Benelux by Batenburg Applied Technologies, is launching three capacitive touch displays for these more extreme usage situations with the LiquidUX series.
The series, available in 10.1″, 12.1″ and 15.6″ with LED backlight, has a unique TouchNetix controller for optimal touch interaction. EDT has extensively tested the performance of the LiquidUX displays in simulated practical situations including condensation, water, soap, and operation with gloves. The series has also been tested in various temperature and motion scenarios and for multi-touch operation with a cover lens up to ten millimeters thick. The result is a high-quality touch display that can be used in many industrial applications, but can of course also be used in countless medical and commercial applications.
