As of January 1, 2023, Hitma UltraPure BV and Hitma Instrumentatie BV will form one company under the name Hitma BV. In addition, from that date, the sister organizations ATAL BV and MW Instruments BV will also become part of Hitma BV. Through the merger, the business units will bundle their expertise with the aim of expanding the product range. and further optimize services.
Technical issues
Not much will change for customers of the various companies. As usual, they can contact their regular contact persons with technical (process) issues. The Hitma range remains divided into 10 disciplines, supplemented with the products and services of ATAL and MW Instruments.
ATAL
After the merger, Hitma department ATAL will focus on the online sale of standalone (CO2) meters and loggers via the webshop ATAL.nl. The other ATAL products, such as instruments linked to the online data registration system Online Sensor, are sold through the Hitma discipline 'Data registration'.
MW Instruments
Hand-held measuring equipment and gas detection systems (applied in refrigeration technology and boiler rooms) are sold and repairs and calibrations are carried out under the trade name MW Instruments.
Branches
The head office of Hitma BV is located in Uithoorn. The company also has a warehouse, filtration laboratory and service department in Uithoorn. The Belgian market is served from the office in Antwerp.
The ATAL webshop is managed by the team based in Purmerend. Hand-held meters and gas detection instruments are sold from Almere. MW Instruments continues to perform brand-independent calibration and service work.
