This year Belpa is blowing out 75 candles. The company was founded in Amsterdam in 1946. In the early years, the company contributed to the reconstruction after the Second World War. Belpa manufactured heating in the form of transformers for, among other things, oil heaters.

Even today, Belpa still supplies transformers to customers in the oil and gas industry. Because business was going well, it was decided in 1955 to move to Harderwijk. The company is still located there. In addition to producing transformers and power supplies, Belpa has also developed into a company specialized in electrical energy transformation.

Seeking collaboration with clients and partners and creating total solutions is a goal of Belpa. Consider creating total solutions in the field of electrical safety in medically used areas, water-cooled transformers and shore power projects in large ports.
