On March 24, 2022, the Building Automation trade association will organize a meeting with a focus on cooperation in the chain, which is also called the construction column. If there are ambitions to renovate many existing facilities due to climate plans, then the current approach with public procurement does not seem efficient and effective. Speakers from an engineering firm and a consultant will discuss the challenge of combining a good relationship in the chain with inspiration about all kinds of new technological possibilities with the current form of collaboration.
With 40 to 50 professionals from the built environment chain present, both the presentations and the discussions about the content provide knowledge to tackle current challenges in a modern way by improving collaboration. A maximum of twenty non-members will be allowed for this meeting.
The exact program and location are not yet certain at this time, so we will inform you later about the concrete content of this meeting. You can already register by sending an email to Max Meijer so we can keep you informed.
Other examples of expertise are published on the FHI website. One of the members, Rensen Regeltechniek BV, has an article posted about the use of Digital Twin technology and Artificial Intelligence for conscious energy consumption. The pilot project in the Zodiac building of the WUR is mentioned here, to investigate the added value for technical maintenance, installation performance, comfort and of course energy consumption.
