Cinergia 19 inch Rack Mount Systems

Cinergia has now expanded its range with 19” versions of the extremely versatile regenerative converters. These versions are also supplied with the latest SIC technology, which also results in a significant improvement in the specifications. For example, the bandwidth of this unit has been increased to 400Hz and harmonic distortions can be programmed up to a maximum of 5kHz. In addition, both the ripple of the output current and the output voltage have been improved due to the higher switching frequency. And the efficiency of this unit has also been increased to almost 94%.

At this moment only the GE 30+ vAC/DC is available in a 19” rack version. This grid emulator / bi-directional DC power supply has a capacity of 30kVA but we hope to introduce the other models and other capacities soon.

In grid emulator mode the unit can be used as a constant voltage source for a 3 phase grid or single phase grid. It is also possible to switch to a multichannel AC supply with three independent channels. In regenerative bi-directional DC supply mode we have a possibility of a single channel, three synchronized channels with separate values, a bipolar supply (+- voltage) and three completely independent channels. These channels can then be programmed separately in CV, CC, CP and CR mode.

Supporting software for Battery Emulation, Solar Array Simulation and Battery Testing is also available, creating a unique solution suitable for most testing applications in renewable energy, Power Hardware in the Loop (PHIL), smart grids, batteries and electric vehicles.
