Intelligently control cooling systems
ClimaPro is aimed at making cooling systems work energy-efficiently and thus contributes to important social goals such as sustainability and combating climate change. Climaveneta has put a great deal of expertise into this system to make cooling installations and the underlying components work together intelligently. Sophisticated algorithms control all components for cold generation and delivery in the most efficient way – including the valves and pumps of the water system. Practical example: saving energy in Amsterdam
For example, with ClimaPro we helped a data center in Amsterdam to take the performance of the entire cooling installation a big step forward. In this specific project, water cooling machines generate cold for 100 CRAH units (Computer Room Air Handlers). Here we used ClimaPro to make the temperature setting of the cooling water dependent on the demand in the data rooms. Based on that, we let the water cooling machines use free cooling as much as possible - by the outside air. This means that the compressors do not have to start as often and we save a lot of energy.
