Newland has several OEM scan engines to integrate into equipment.

The EM1300 and EM2037V4 are widely used modules, with which you can easily create your own scanning unit. The EM1300 1D barcode scanner is as wide as a paperclip 28.2×23.4×7.7mm and has a TTL interface. The power consumption is between 12 and 160mA, which makes it suitable for use in handheld devices.

The EM2037V4 is an all-round OEM engine. The 1D and 2D scanner can scan most barcodes.

With dimensions of 39.5x25.4x20mm and a current consumption of up to 191mA, this engine is mainly used in setups with a fixed power supply.

Both engines have a USB and RS-232 interface. An Evaluation Kit is available for both engines, with which a test setup can be quickly built.
