The Megger MTR105 is a unique instrument that combines the most relevant electrical test procedures for motors and generators in one compact housing.
The device offers an automated insulation resistance test over 3 phases, with temperature correction. In addition, this includes a 4-wire resistance measurement (DLRO) with 200 mA, measurement of capacitance, inductance and rotating field direction. This functionality makes it an ideal instrument for carrying out tests after repair, overhaul or maintenance on site and also for carrying out production tests on newly manufactured engines and generators.
The MTR105 has an impact-resistant, weather-resistant housing (IP54) and yet weighs only over 900 grams. Test results are displayed on a large color screen, stored in an internal memory and communicated via USB. If the device is connected incorrectly, this is quickly detected and the test is blocked. This also makes the MTR105 very safe to use.
