Hydrogen is expected to play a major role in the energy transition. Together with exhibitors, the World of Automation is organizing the Hydrogen Square in hall 8: a platform on the exhibition floor where exhibitors show hydrogen solutions and instrumentation in combination with demonstrations of concrete innovations from end users.

One of the innovations on display is the hydrogen solar panel from Solhyd, a spin-off from KU Leuven. Building on a chemical technology from KU Leuven, they have developed a panel that is able to convert water vapour in the air directly into hydrogen using sunlight.

There is still a spot available for exhibitors to participate in the Waterstofplein. Curious about the possibilities? Contact Susanne van Boxtel.
