Electronic products must meet the essential requirements of the EMC Directive, which requires EMC testing. Starting up your own EMC test system is often seen as a difficult obstacle. If a start must be made with EMC, it is often chosen to start with a Conducted Immunity (CI) system.
This is because a CI system can be set up relatively easily and can be operational quickly. Patrick Dijkstra from Raditeq (on behalf of CN Red) leave in his presentation see how a (standard) CI system works and what the consequences can be if a product has not been properly tested for the CI/EMC aspect.
