The outgoing cabinet has decided to increase the maximum amounts for the TVL scheme (Fixed Expenditure Allowance). The measure applies to the first two quarters of this year.

According to the cabinet For SMEs, the maximum amount will increase to EUR 550,000 per quarter. That was 330,000 euros. For larger companies, the maximum amount increases from 400,000 euros to 600,000 euros.

The so-called inventory subsidy for retailers who have to close their doors will increase from a maximum of 200,000 to 300,000 euros. The government is allocating a total of 335 million euros for the expansions.

Under the TVL scheme, affected entrepreneurs are reimbursed for 85 percent of their fixed costs if they suffer a loss of turnover of more than 30 percent.
