In April, the DigiDealGO was ratified by approximately forty organisations from the construction sector. The Digiteam is working out the ambitions and goals for the built environment in a digitalisation programme. The implementation of this programme is supported by the BIM Loket, which, as a knowledge platform and point of contact for open BIM standards, is the driving force behind the digitalisation task.

The DigiDeal for the Built Environment (DigiDealGO) gives substance to the joint ambition and task to accelerate the digitalization of the construction sector and is the starting signal for the national digitalization program Built Environment. This digitalization task is indicated in the Construction Agenda as a crucial precondition for 'realizing the many challenges and tasks of the sector'.

The higher goal is to ensure a safe, healthy, sustainable living environment and to keep the Netherlands leading and competitive. The DigiDealGO must be an impulse for an efficient and smart built environment and a driver for productivity growth.

DigiDealGO stakeholders create access to a large amount of data and information and an exchange thereof based on a broad knowledge network.

The program contains a multi-year outlook and a concrete approach for this year. Each year, the participating parties will endeavor to update the program plan in line with the starting principles based on progressive insights.

The ambitions of the Digiteam are clear:

  • sharing information
  • make information available on demand
  • making it easier to apply information and knowledge
  • from information to innovation.
  • Register now as a visitor of the Bits, Bricks & Behavior conference and let you during the presentation by Jacqueline Meerkerk and Richard Tieskens inform about DigiDealGO, the ambitions and the progress in digitalization of the built environment. Registration is possible through this link.

The conference takes place at the same time as the event Smart Homes & Intelligent Buildings. Visitors have access to both programs and the common information market.
