Itech introduces the IT6600C series of regenerative bi-directional DC power supplies. A new generation of bi-directional DC power supplies from Itech that uses advanced third-generation SiC technology.

A 3U high unit from the Itech 6600C series has two independent channels of 21kW each. These two independent channels can be connected in series or parallel, creating one unit with a maximum power of 42kW. Unique in terms of power density in a 19 inch 3U high housing. At the same time, we also create an extremely flexible unit in terms of maximum voltage and current. We can use it at full power over a voltage range of 210V to 1200V. By connecting units in parallel we achieve up to 420kW in one 19 inch rack and by connecting these racks in parallel we achieve up to 10MW in one system.

An important new feature in the IT6600 series is the redundancy function. In a multi-unit setup (N+1, N+2…) when one unit fails, the IT6600C system will automatically switch on the redundant unit to ensure the output power of the entire system.

The IT6600C series is not only a power supply, but also an excellent electronic load. It can not only supply power as a DC power supply, but also act as a regenerative DC load (CC, CR and CP). And given the two independent channels you can even work with one DC power supply channel and one regenerative load of 21kW each in one 3U housing.

The beautiful touch screen display ensures extremely easy operation. The models from the IT6600 series are also equipped with a USB, LAN and Canbus interface as standard. Optionally, a GPIB, EtherCAT and Analog&RS232 interface is also available.
