The NEO supercaps are distinguished by the application of "anti-wetting" technology.

Wetting is the phenomenon of leakage of the electrolyte fluid when a supercap outside the temperature specifications is used in combination with high humidity. This can damage the circuit board and surrounding electronics.

The NEO series cannot leak because no liquid is incorporated in the electrolyte. The technology is applied in 2.7 and 3.0V cells. The NEO range is now available from 1F to 50F for 2.7V and up to 60F for 3.0V.

Applications can also be carried out in combination with lithium batteries, such as; peak shaving, energy storage, backup power, last time life signals and UPS.
