TT&MS BV has managed to expand its power division with the latest QL series from H&H. This QL series is a completely new line of bipolar power supplies with new functionality, which can function in 2 or 4 quadrants, depending on the model.
The bipolar power supplies from the QL series have a “SOURCE” and “SINK” mode, which means that the device can be used both as a power supply and as an electronic load. In addition to use as a DC source, the 4-quadrant version is also suitable as an AC source. The QL series can also be used as an analog amplifier, suitable for capacitive and inductive loads.
Such power supplies are used for testing a wide range of Energy Storage Devices (charge/discharge), motors, chargers or coils. The standard portfolio offers devices with 2 or 4 quadrants up to 3,600 W. A striking feature is the “modulator” with which a sinusoidal, square wave, triangular or arbitrary signal can be modulated in CC or CV mode. Frequency and modulation depth are adjustable. In addition, the QL series is suitable for determining an internal resistance Ri of a DUT. But as a simulator, an Ri can also be programmed in the QL series models and its charge/discharge parameters can be defined.
As standard, the units can be controlled analogously or remotely programmed via LAN, CAN, RS232 and USB.
